Growing Together with Our Community

At Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium, sustainability is about more than caring for the environment. It is also about supporting our community, creating opportunities and making a positive difference together.

Through ongoing partnerships and annual initiatives, our Heartists are committed to giving back to the community while reducing our environmental impact.

Caring for Our Community

Every year, we celebrate Children’s Day at Wat Uthai Tharam, bringing joy to children through activities, meals and community support.

We also organize annual blood donation activities, encouraging our Heartists and community to come together and help support those in need.

Reducing Waste, Creating Value

Reducing food and general waste is an important part of our sustainability journey.

Each month, we donate surplus food through SOS Foundation, helping provide meals to communities in need while reducing food waste.

We also work with SCGC – Wake Up Waste to recycle waste from the hotel and support a more circular approach to resource management.

In addition, our annual used bottle cap collection gives discarded materials a new purpose through recycling while contributing to prosthetic support initiatives.

Supporting Education & Future Opportunities

We believe education can create lasting positive change. Through our partnership with iCare, we support scholarships and career development opportunities for students, helping young people gain the skills and opportunities they need for the future.
